Middleware 2016, thanks to generous donations from our supporters, offers several grants to attend the conference.

Who can apply?
Funding is available to master’s and doctoral students at educational institutions world-wide. Students having a paper in the doctoral symposium will have priority. Applications from postdocs and young faculty may also be considered; please follow the online procedure below and use the “Motivation” textbox to clearly present your case.
What is provided?
Each grant covers a full (i.e., pre-conference + main conference) Middleware registration, including meals, and possibly some funding toward accommodation and travel expenses. Applicants are encouraged to participate in the pre-conference program. Grants will be awarded based on a combination of need and merit. The amount of support awarded is based on the cost estimate, submitted with the grant application; reimbursements are based on the actual travel and accommodation expenses, which will be arranged through the conference organization.
